Notice of Online Training: "Win in the East · Access China" – A Practical Guide for European Food Enterprises to Tap into the Chinese MarketTo all European food production enterprises and European food trade-related enterprises:
China's imported food market continues to expand, with consumers' demand for high-quality and diversified food growing steadily. European food has gained great popularity among Chinese consumers thanks to its profound quality heritage. To help European food enterprises accurately seize opportunities in the Chinese market and resolve core challenges in market access, compliance and operation, the online training entitled "Win in the East · Access China" – A Practical Guide for European Food Enterprises to Tap into the Chinese Market is hereby launched. The training is supported by the Foreign Investment and Foreign Trade Working Committee of China-Europe Association for Economic and Technical Cooperation, hosted by Nao Technology Co., Ltd., and organized by China-Europe International Trade Center. - Analysis of the scale and growth potential of China's imported food market, focusing on consumption data of European competitive categories such as snacks, dairy products and baked goods.
- Portrait of Chinese consumers' core demands: Interpretation of trends including health orientation (low sugar, low fat, organic), quality pursuit and cultural experience.
- Building core advantages for European food to enter China:
- Quality advantage: Sense of safety and trust brought by clean ingredient lists and strict production standards;
- Origin advantage: Differentiated competitiveness supported by characteristic producing areas (e.g., French wine, Italian olive oil);
- Brand advantage: High-end brand perception shaped by historical heritage and cultural connotations.
(2) Practical Compliance and Access: Policy Requirements and Registration Procedures
- Interpretation of China's core policies on imported food: Focus on the latest requirements of the "Administrative Provisions on the Registration of Overseas Production Enterprises of Imported Food" (GACC Decree No. 280).
- Comprehensive guidelines for enterprise registration: Registration requirements, application materials (preparation requirements in Chinese/English), review procedures and explanations on special policies for list registration.
- Avoidance of compliance risks: Key points including label and marking standards, registration information change procedures and validity extension.
- Compliance cases of European enterprises: Analysis of successful registration experiences and common problems of enterprises in different categories.
